bike stand
Im looking for a good, decently priced rear or both, bike stand to use while doing repair work to my bike. Does any one know where to get a good deal on one or maybe have one your trying to get rid of?
thanks
thanks
Or does anyone at least have an opinion on which ones are better to usr for doing work? Or are they all pretty much the same? I remember seeing various kinds that all hold the bike at different points. I kinda like the idea of one stand to hold the whole bike though.

+1 for the T-Rex. I used handy stands when I had my 900 as the spooless pads were nice. They are flat and hold the bike nice. I have Vortex stands now and for non spooled bikes it sucks because it's a round pad.......the bike has a tendancy to slide off the back of the stand. Never had it happen, but it made me nervous. (this was on a freinds F4i). If you were to put bosses on your swing arm and then spools it works great.
Thanks for the info guys. I'll probably end up getting the T-rex stands for now anyway. They are priced pretty good and I just recently had a new baby so the wife is out of work so i'm a little low on money right now. Is there any thing I need other than the stands and spools though?
Just to touch on what Gixxereater mentioned make sure you get a universal rear stand. unless you modified your swingarm to accept spools. I know, at least for the early 900's they don't have the bosses.
So does T-Rex make a stand that is universal for the rear? I noticed on most of the ones I seen on ebay that it said for 900rr but they also mentioned spools. If they don't is there any easy way to mod for spools, or another brand universal stand that is good and decently priced?
