Default Brake fluid is dark reddish brown!!!

Hey Honda lovers. I have a 2002 CBR954RR. I just changed the chain, front and rear sprockets, front and rear brake pads, and I flushed out the brake fluid. My front brake reservoir was full of fluid but it was a dark reddish brown. I used a Mighty-Vac and flushed out the reservior with new DOT4 fluid. Problem is that after only two days of riding, the fluid has already changed back to the dark color. Is this a serious problem? How do I fix this? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

are you tracking the bike ? by tracking i mean track days... i think its heat that causes the fluid to change color but ive never had direct experienc with this problem

As Havoc asks, are you tracking the bike?

If not, then you probably haven't flushed all the old fluid out of the system, re-flush with clean fluid.

did you bleed the brakes or just suck out the old fluid of the resevoir? Sounds like you need to bleed your brakes completely until you have clean fluid coming out of the bleeders on the calipers.

I've expereinced this before. You'll have to bleed and replace the fluid. Before you put new fluid in, be sure to clean out the resevoir real good. Sometimes a film will develop in there, causing your new fluid to take on the color characteristics of the old stuff.
