Hi guys, I'm new to the forum, I'm 19, I just bought an 02 cbr f4i. It's the red/silver look. I really like the bike, it's beautiful, I've ridden some f3's and a ninja 750, but I really like the feel of the f4i. Anyways, one thing I don't like is the headlights, how one is low beam then other is highbeam. I was wondering, can I just change the lowbeam to a highbeam bulb, then just always have my highbeams on that way both lights are equal in light and doesn't look as weird. As well, the lights look very aftermarket, they look very bright and resemble H.I.D.. Another question, seeing as how this is my first bike, any tips on letting it warm up etc, I've ridden a ton but never had the opportunity to own one till now. One last thing, the bike was slightly dropped from a standing position with the previous owner, it barely touched the ground, and has a tiny amount of scratches, barely noticeable on the side. I'm wondering how if I can touch it up. And washing the bottom of the bike, can I do that? Thanks a lot guys.

 

What do you mean by washing the bottom of the bike? The bottom of the fairings or the exhaust? As for the lights, I know you can switch the bulbs in the 954 but I don't know if you can do so with the F4i. I don't see why not thhough to be honest. Oh, and nice choice of color!! Same color my F4 was before I got her painted. As for warming up, I always turn my bike on and let her run while I put my gear on so she gets warm. I still wait a bit into my ride to really crack the throttle.
