Bleeding brake lines ?
2002 954rr
Looking for suggestions. I just replaced the brake pads and installed Galfer steel braided lines on the front.
I can't seem to get the air from the right line. The left bleeds quick an easy, but just when the right side apears to have no more air bubbles in the line, it's like a gush and it's full of air bubbles again.
I have removed the bleeder valve and inspected. Wrapped threads with teflon tape reinstalled and no luck.
I even swapped right & left bleeder valves, but still can't get right side bled properly.
I'm using a Craftsman vacum pump designed for this job. With valve closed and vacum pumped up to 25 psi it holds pressure OK, which tells me its not letting air in around tube connected to to the bleeder valve.
Could there be somthing in the caliper bleeder valve threads letting air in when it's backed off slightly to bleed? The threads look good as far as I can see, but swapping valves eliminates the valve itself.
A friend said to use a silcon sealer on the threads.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

RE: Bleeding brake lines ?
try gravity bleeding it first then use the vacuum pump. Just open the bleeder and squeeze the hand brake and hold it untill you got through about 1/4 the bottle through it then close the bleeder. Try that. If that doesnt work then Id check all of the hook up's and lines.
