I started reading this thread, and within a few seconds saw that avatar. I quickly thought to myself, how long is it going to take this thread to go from support offerings to...

Apparently 5... heck, that's longer than it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie-Pop.

Lol if it took you a few seconds, you're obviously happily married

Got married on Halloween.

This is my sexy hubby. We got a decent tax return coming... He let me get a new pistol. Kimber 1911 Covert 2.

My parents visited Sunday and my dad helped me with it. Just gotta put the radiator hose back on and fill 'er back up with fluids. I guess one of the clamps is cutting into the hose, but I've been itching to ride so It should work for now.

Thank you guys for your help!

Glad you're getting it squared away. Do you already have that kimber, if you do how do you like it? I've been eyeballing the custom covert II for a month or so...

LOL you said squared away! >_<

It is a little doll.. I'm used to shooting the AR and bigger stuff now... so gotta get used to this short barrel stuff. I had a really crappy pistol I had when I was single and I sold it... nice to finally replace it. Not that we have a shortage around here. haha It seems kinda stiff... Need to play with it more before giving a full evaluation. But it does feel like superior quality! I really like the night sights. The battery on the crimson trace is weak (probably from being on display at the store). I really like how it fits in my hand.. shoots a lot smoother than the other gun I had... but it costs like 1300 or 1400$ more than the other gun too.

I have a Kimber CDP that I conceal carry. I love these pistols and would recommend them to anyone. My first carry pistol was the Baby Eagle chambered in .40. I couldn't hit **** with it and thought it was me, but when I fired a full size Kimber I was surprised. That sealed it for me.
