Default Bah Oil Drain Bolt

I have new Mobli1 4T oil waiting. The hexagon shape on the bolt got all soft and when I tryed to take the bolt off it rounded out. The bolt is so tight in there and everything I try just rounds the bolt out more. How do I get it out?

1. DO NOT TAP WITH A HAMMER OR WHACK AT IT...YOU'LL STRIP THE ENGINE CASE THREADS...THEN YOU ARE DOUBLE SCREWED. NO HITTING.

Try a pair of vice grips..and see if you can't gently use a file to make two flat sides on the bolt.

Once you have something to get a grip with, use a cheater bar on the vice grips and see if you can;'t ease it out...maybe bump it a bit with your palm.

You might aso start your bike...warm the oil and engine case up.

Heat, makes metal expand.

first, not trying to be a smart a$$, but make sure you are turning it the right direction. its upside down, so think about it for a second.

second, try heating the bolt with a torch and vice grips, if that doesnt work, they sell sockets that are designed to cut into and grip rounded off bolt heads
so that you can take them out. try SEARS or somewhere,

Just use Vice Grips, you don't need to do anything fancy to it.
It can't be in there very tight. Just clamp the Vice Grips on and turn, it will come loose right away, do the rest by hand.

easy out would be good if the bolt was missing the head. i removed a frozen o2 sensor and three broken off exhaust manifold studs with vice grips, so it can be done. if the vice grips slip, flip them over - they are meant to grip better in one direction. least you didn't strip the threads out. yet. as long as the bolt headis there, it can be removed. as soon as the bolt head breaks off, THEN you need your easy out. but pray that doesn't happen.

Ok so I went and bought a vice grip. I got the bolt out. I had to grip the bolt so hard the vice made its own flat spots on the head. I then hit the vice with a hammer and the bolt loosened up.
