bad coil

bad coil

i have a 2002 cbr600f4i--is it possible for 1 bad coil to keep it from starting ? i checked all 4 coils and #2 is bad-thanks for any info in advance

ok everyone,we gave up and took it to a honda shop-it was the cam chain tensioner that was bad-it wouldnt let it be in time because of no tension on the chain - so there you have it thanks to all who replied
