Default Aux Electrical Setup

Ok I know some of you guys have accessories wired up. Im looking at wiring in power for my cell phone charger, a hardwired power cable for my radar detector and possibly in the near future power for a GPS. Anyone have suggestions and ideas on wiring. Im thinking about mounting a terminal strip under the seat to use as a connection point for grounds and adding an auxillary fuse block off the battery to provide the positive side of the equation to power all accessories. The big question I have is what is a good way to tie this fuse block into the electrical system so that it is switched..ie: on with the key off with the key without adding additional amps to an existing circuit. Im guessing I need to connect a relay to an existing switched circuit to handle the on/off switching of the power direct from the battery. How would I go about this? Any pictures anyone has would be appreciated.
Edit: Ok I seemed to have a momentary lapse of my basic electrical knowledge and answered my own question on the relay (maybe I should stop staying up all night)...however pictures of any of your Aux power setups would still be appreciated. And the more I think about this the more questions that arise. How many amps can I pull before I start overworking the charging system and pulling power from the battery? This would be critical especially if i start adding higher amp accessories such as an electric vest, heated grips, and aux driving lights.

ebay has 12v power connectors to buy... lets you hook up powered items like that.. comes pretty in a package. just search your bike model and scroll till you find it.

Ok well no one seemed to have a bunch of answers for me, however, heres what I have come up with so far. The relay is wired, now I just need to source a few more parts. I need power connectors and a fuse block. If anyones interested I have pictures posted here: http://www.chaosonline.net/photos/th...s.php?album=11

The main fuse to my aux. fuse block is now wired and the relay is actually switching on power and working correctly...tested with my multimeter. When I figure out where to source a fuse block I like I'll post some final pictures and a through write up of all parts steps and wiring diagrams to the DIY section. I need some good, waterproof plugs to use for my power connections. At minimum they have to be waterproof when not in use and water resistant when in use so I dont lose too many fuses from shorts or short out any expensive electronics. I'm also looking at a good way to add power to the inside of my tankbag without just running it through a zipper. I'm toying with the idea of installing a metal grommet which will give me a small hole in the bag and keep the material from fraying then mounting some sort of plug on the inside (perhaps a cigarette lighter socket). These are just some ideas at the moment. Im still looking for input from the rest of ya. I have looked at the powerlet connectors and while nice they seem a bit pricey, and I could get roughly the same results from mono stereo type plugs and sockets. Those would be ideal if it wasnt for the water resistance.
