Default any advice

i just bought a new set of tires for my bike. (02 f4i) these have almost 11000 mi. on them, and there pretty scary in the twisties. anyway i was thinking of taking my wheels off my bike myself, and bring them to the stealership with tires so they cant F up my bike, just my wheels. my questions are should they be spin balanced? or ok to bubble balance? also i think the weights that clamp on the center ridge of rim are better than the stick on weights what do you think does it matter. also if i take off the wheels, when i get them back do they have to be aligned or do ijust bolt the front on. and make sure back wheel has same amount of turns out. also i guess i need to leave rotors and sprocket on the wheel to be balanced right. is there anything i should ask the shop . any help appreciated thanks. oh yeah i forgot since i have 11000 miles should i get new wheel bearings ? when should they be changed?

Hey Hondaman4life ~ funny you posted this as I'm taking my rear rim in tomorrow for a tire change. Regarding the rotor & sproket I was going to call first to see if they need them taken off, but I doubt they will. I'm pretty curious myself seeing as this is my first motorcycle tire change
my questions are should they be spin balanced? or ok to bubble balance?
I don't care how they do it so long as my bike doesn't wooble all over the place, lol.
also i think the weights that clamp on the center ridge of rim are better than the stick on weights what do you think does it matter.
No, it doesn't matter; they all accomplish the same thing. I prefer the sticky ones
if i take off the wheels, when i get them back do they have to be aligned or do ijust bolt the front on. and make sure back wheel has same amount of turns out.
Yep, just bolt the front on & align the rear.
oh yeah i forgot since i have 11000 miles should i get new wheel bearings ? when should they be changed?
As long as the wheel turns true and smoothly and there's no grinding/squeeking, they're ok.

Stay away from the stick on weights, they are more prone to fall off. The only advantage to them is the fact that the can be mounted in a more inconspicuose (spell check) area of the rim, so your nice shiny chrome rims dont have that unsightly lead weight sticking outta the lip.

So I just got back from the shop and it was $35 for the mount & balance and tire disposal fee. Didn't need to remove the brake nor the sprocket, although I found out that the cush-drive (sprocket) pops right out, lol. They also used the clip-on weights. It took them 15 min.
