Currently using HP4 aka the honda stuff, have done so even with my 03 600rr, but is there something better i should be using?? Synthetic? Just looking to learn about the different oils your are using and the results you've had. thanx guys

Once any of my toys break 6000~8000 miles, I run full synthetic AMSoil. Stuff is a bit pricey but it's great! Otherwise your in the right track with the Honda oil.

 

I have used the HP4 ($7/qt), switched to the Repsol full synthetic ($13/qt), and now just changed over to the AMSOil 20/50 synthetic. It's about $10/qt but pours like honey :-)
No issues so far but it's only been in for bout 200 miles. I also like the K&N oil filter, flows great and has a hole in the top nut for a wire tie.

 

I'm using AMSoil full synthetic. I have put 3000mi on it and it still looks like it did when I pured it in.

 

I just bought some 10W-40 AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil for High Performance Engine & Transmission Lubricant. I'm going to put it in tomorrow after using the Honda HP4 for 2ish years. Someone said their Goldwing shifts like glass with this stuff so I thought I'd try it. Let you know how it goes!
