I'm trying to buy this bike from someone but it has developed a problem. Last week the bike sputtered and quit running at a stop and was taken to a shop. The mechanic told him he had not ridden the bike often enough to keep the battery charged. The shop charged the battery and took the bike out for a 15 min ride and it worked great. Last night while the guy was riding it again quit after 30 miles. He described it as starting out as a loss of power and then the sputtering started then it shut off. It would refire after a couple mins but wouldn't run for just a few seconds. Anybody have any ideas on what to check? I don't think it is a fuel problem as that would show up when first started. Could a weak or bad battery cause this bike to shut off?
