i posted this question in another area but havent gotten any response so thought i would try here... i need a radiator and i am looking online for a used one, i was wondering what will work (what years and does it have to come from a 900rr?)

Dont hold me to it, but I believe a radiator from a 96-97 900RR will fit perfectly. I also think, but less sure, that a 98-99 will also fit. Im pretty sure the body style was the same as well as all of the accessories, so the radiator should be the same as well.

Any other radiator from any other bike will not fit in the bike correctly. Im guessing you could modify one to work, but if you want it to bolt up, your choices are pretty limited.

But, if it were me, i'd try to find the correct year one, if I couldnt, I'l look for the 97 one.

there is one on ebay right now for 90bucks.

 

id have to agree 96-99 should fit.
