Default How often should coolant hoses be changed

I have a 2001 CBR 600F4i with the original hoses.
How often should coolant hoses be replaced as prevention from failure due to rubber aging.

Depends on WX conditions where you live, if the bike is exposed to the elements on a regular basis, if the bike sits for very long periods of time, etc. A good radiator hose will not flex much at all when you squeeze it w/ your fingers. If you can squeeze a hose easily, its getting weak & needs to be changed. Some will last tens of thousands of miles...some much less. If you're in doubt of your current hoses, I'd recommend just replacing them. Its easy to do & is good insurance against a hose failure on the road...which you absolutely don't want.
