Generally the fuel pump only runs for a couple of seconds to prime. When you say that the bike won't turn over, do you mean that when you hit the starter button nothing happens ? Provide a little history on the bike. What happened prior to this problem coming up? Was the bike running fine yesterday and then today it doesn't start ? Was the last time the bike ran last fall ?

no it cranks but seems like its not getting fuel, but when i turn the key its silent shouldnt i hear the whining sound from the fuel pump soon as i turn the key? i just bought it from a friend cause he couldnt get it started(he's not mechanically incline) so he said about a few months ago it was running fine then one day it didnt wanna turn over...im gonna check the fuel filter and lines today, but i had a few hondas in my day and this is my first 954 so still learning about it.

Ladies lounge?

Yes, you should hear the fuel pump for about 2 seconds as soon as you turn on the key. They are not loud, but you can definately hear it. If you don't hear any sound, then its not working. I would start by checking the fuse for the fuel pump. On some bikes, the killswitch will deactivate the fuel pump, so check to make sure its working properly. Also, other things to check would be the fuel cut relay and the Bank Angle Sensor. Any one of those issues could prevent the fuel pump from working.

Is there anything else we should know about the history? Has it been in any accidents? Has any of the fairings been modified in anyway? if the bike was converted to a naked bike, the previous owner may have bypassed the bank angle sensor and the bypass may have just failed.
