Default 94 F2 question

I got a 94 F2 parts bike that has a good engine on it and I was wanting to use it on a "project" and was wondering did the F2's ave a fuel pump like the F3's? I have cranked this engine but can only keep it running momentarily by spraying something into the carbs or putting gas into them. There is no break out harness for a fuel pump so I was wondering if they were gravity fed. Any comments or ideas? thanks

I dunno if gravity fed is the word. They do have a vaccum line that runs to the petcock. So i guess the answer is yes they are gravity fed. lol Hope this helps.

Oh as far as keeping it running check the vacuum line. It runs to the left side of the carbs. Really easy to see it. Follow that line and it will run to the right side of the petcock. Thats your vacuum line. If thats broke or clogged or leaking that may cause it to not keep running.

Thanks, maybe that will give me a starting point at least.

No problem. Other things to check owuld be fouled plugs and idle. On my bike if someone screws with the idle and i dont know it my bike will have a hard time running.

I'll try this stuff and let you know. I did glance at the petcock and it only has the one fuel line attached to it.

A lack of a vacuum line may very well be your problem. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
