ok here is my problem . My kick stand got put down and the damn spring that keeps it down broke. so of course it fell hard in the driveway on the stator/alternator side. So oil leaked out ect ect i was screaming . i was so pissed . i got a new stator cover put it on with a new gasket and had a oil leak . so then i looked closer and i have a hairline crack very ver small in the engine house where the cover bolts to . I am pretty shure that is all one piece and i am screwed. if anyone has any suggestions or had this happen before please help cause i am not shure what to do next . Thanks for reading !!!

 

Weld it.

As for the spring, it's only to helpbring the stand up and hold it there, not down. Was anyone around it - I guess what I'm saying is, are you sure it just, "fell over?"

 

Yeah you'll need to have your cases welded, or find a set of used cases from ebay or something. and just replace the springs, shouldn't be too much, but is the least of your worries. Sorry about the bad luck you ran into man

 

His block has a crack, he's already replaced the stator cover.

 

yea got a new cover just have a slow oil leak from the engine case now .ERRR this bike was sick to it sucks so bad

 

Try some JB weld.. If you say its just a "hairline crack" it should be fine
