Default 87 cbr 1000 fuel problem

my bike just died like it was out of fuel. I checked out the fuel lines to see if gas was flowing, it was. So I figure that the fuel pump was out. I have not bought one yet, but I had a friend tell me to put a low volume fuel pump on. I am not sure about the pressure if it will flood the carb. basicley I am tring to save money. If I have to buy a new fuel pump I will. If any other answers I would appreciate.

Im not sure on a 900rr, but I imagine its close to the same. But my old R6's fuel pump was only rated at 1-1.5 psi. So what ever pump you use, it will need to be very, very low psi. most electic automotive ones are 5-7 psi and are too high of pressure.

check ebay. If you can't find your model, one from another bike may work
