600rr wouldn't start big time help!!
Hi everyone! My friend asked me to write here to ask for help 'cos hes is really stuck with his 03 600RR brought from US to Russia. What happened was that he installed a security system on his bike by himself and the bike then stopped starting. Symptoms: no fuel pipe sound, no spark on a spark plug but engine is being spun by a starter. He pulled out the security system and put everything as it used to be, but it still wouldn't start. He said he checked everything, all sensors, fuses and relays seem to work fine. Hes' been running through different service centers here in Moscow for a couple of months with no luck (the level of service here is still very bad). He didn't get the ecu diagnosed 'cos noone has the equipment here to do it, but his friend has put his ecu into his own working rr and it was working perfectly.
Has any1 got any ideas??? Its spring soon and he really wants to get i fixed before every1 else can enjoy riding![/align]

RE: 600rr wouldn't start big time help!!
Hey, check out my post from the other day in this same section. Titled,
"I can't get my 600rr to start". Read it and see if that sounds like the same thing that could have happened to your friends bike. Simply put though, I had a fuel injector come unplugged because I almost dropped my fuel tank and it pulled on the wiring. The bike came on and the starter worked but the fuel system and spark wouldn't work, Hope this helps.

As far as I know it's done by switching a killswitch off and back on again?Well, I don't think he did intentionly but during months of testing and trying, i'm pretty sure that he would do it accidently. Or should it be done instantly like on-off-on? I'll tell him anyway, thanks!

ORIGINAL: Fede RR
Between the front lights there's the "flip sensor" ( don't know how you call it in english, it's the sensor that turn off the bike if it flips upside-down) maybe during the transport it has been messed up.....
