Default Got hot and wouldn't start........

Ok so here it is.... just got back for a bike event this past weekend and while there having a good time and then got ready to do a ride and the bike wouldn't start. thought it was bad gas maybe but nope not it, thought fuel pump was bad, not it. Got the bike into the truck and decided to give it a shot after a couple of hours.... and hell it fired right up. Has anyone had this problem before and if so any suggestion would be nice?

Now that i have been back a couple of days, still no trouble. I should say the bike never actually overtemped at all, and didn't here the pump wind up or nothing. Now it's all good..... I am stumped.

is it possible you accidentally hit the killswitch and didnt know it, then while loading, hit it again so the bike would start? Or, have friends that love playing tricks on you, and might have pressed the killswitch?

Or, your killswitch could be acting up, possibly sticking internally. the reason I would think the kill switch is because it will still allow the bike to crank over, but shuts off the fuel pump.

Thanks, i asked a friend at work and he suggested the same thing, but we were working the kill switch on and off. Give me a sec...................yep i was able to make it not work so it does seem like the kill switch not making good contact. Nah my friends know better than to mess with someones bike, especially since the wouldn't want anyone messing with theirs.
