Default Exhuast recommendations, please give input!

Hello all!
My first day on the site, and really have enjoyed quite a number of the forum articles so far!
I did try and search for related articles, but have unfortunately not found what I'm really looking for...

I would greatly appreciate feedback and recommendations from everyone on the site, for exhaust systems currently owned or been researching for your bike. My 2006 1000RR is currently completely stock, no Power Commander or anything.

I'd like to find something more 'audible', rather than a primary motive of horsepower increase. This bike is re-donk-ulous fast enough already!!! 7 more horsepower is really not gonna matter at this point...

Recommendations!? Brands? Slip-on's or full systems? Recommended vendor or outlet site?
All feedback is greatly appreciated, this is my first sport bike!

Thanks!

Hey, Im in the same boat too. I have the same bike and I am think about going with the full system yoshimura carbon fiber. ITs alot cheaper that the italian exhausts and it makes sense to put something made in japan on a japanese bike. Let me know what you think.

A slip-on is all anyone needs unless you're planning on doing some engine modifications. Most of them make about the same amount of power, so go on style and sound.

By engine modifications I mean hotter cams, stuff like that. A Power Commander doesn't require a full exhaust system, but if you want one, then go for it.

To answer your original question....I have A Two Bros. Slip on, and it sounds sooo sick. Once you hear one, you will recognize the low deep roar it puts out.

I agree, I have a TBR on my Concours 14 and it has a nice tone to it. It's quiet if you want it to be quiet but it's loud when you get on it. I've got a Micron on my '05 CBR1000RR but sadly they went out of the motorcycle exhaust business.

I had a two bros on my R1, i absolutely loved the sound, so far it sounds the best out of any exhaust ive ever had. the only reason i didnt get it for my cbr is the way it looks, i dont like the was the can sticks out (i really love the flush look of the the taylormade) and i really hate the gold trim on the exhaust.. but if you like the look of it, two bros sounds phenominal! its got a very deep good sound and also very loud but not obnoxiously loud
