Did the problem return after you did all that?

 

im going back out right now to put the tank back in and start it i been doing a little and come back in and check the forum

 

ok one thing i did not notice till just now ...i see the velocity stacks are two in one but the will align on both sides but one stack is taller than the other so would that make it code ? and which way does anyone know they go in the taller stacks in the middle throttle body holes or on the outers? i fell dumb not paying attention to that the first time since i have had cbrs since the early 90's

 

MAP stands for Manifold Air Pressure. it's got nothing to do with the air box. i can't say for certain which side of the bike it's on, but it's located right underneath a fuel rail, i'm guessing the lower on the left side above the generator cover under the tank cover or mid panel.

 

thank you very much for your help..i found it a small 1/4 grey vacum hose hidden under the fuel rail was off problem solved ....thanks again
