Default 600fk gear train rebuild

Hi Guys just a quick bit of info, pics to follow. I'm rebuilding a 1989 engine and refurbing the gearbox and have today stripped the Main shaft ordering replacement gears, shims, clips, gear bushings etc most from David silver one item the 5th gear bush had to be ordered from Holland only 1 stock so sorry if You need one i have it.

I noticed on dis assembly that one splined washer shown on drawings was not present as shown in both my Honda works manual and also my Clymer manual also Honda online images does anyone know why, was the gear adjacent made larger or something there is no room behind the clip for it I checked !

I am replacing the 5th and 6th gears and bushings because of what seems excessive LEAN over when holding the gear at 6 and 12 oclock and push pulling the backlash as measured on the teeth when meshed is acceptable but there was no measurement to say how much the gear should tilt or lean but on examination there was wear on the splined bushing so ordered new.
I enjoy doing jobs like this but surprisingly they eat money lol when you get stuck in but in the pursuit of a perfect engine it cost what it costs I suppose, it's good there are still parts around for these older bikes even if it means a bit of searching. Thoughts please AL.
