Question Why doesn't bikes come with gear indicators?

I was just wondering why bike don't all have integrated gear indicators? I know you'll eventually get the hang of it but it would indeed help everybody.

I was looking online to see if I can find some kind of mod that would indicate which gear i'm in and I came across this website:

It seems quite handy, do you guys think it's worth it? It's not cheap!

I think you'll get the hang of it before you even get any gear indicator thing installed. Most stick shift cars don't have a gear indicator either, to the best of my knowledge. You should be paying enough attention or know your bike well enough, to know about what gear you're in at any point. But for me, I really don't care what gear I'm in, as long as I'm happy with the RPMs.

Honda is still the only liter bike without a fuel gauge and gear indicator. They are just way behind the times
