gear indicators help ?

You can buy an Acumen gear indicator and place on the side of your gauge....or have it integrated into your gauge.

This guy's work looks fantastic. His mod is complete with an Acumen indicator, and no further wiring is required. You send him your gauges, he installs the indicator, you plug it back in to the stock harness. Done.
I'm seriously considering this, though he hasn't done an '08 yet. I'm trying to get him to buy some gauges off of a wrecked bike to check out so I'm not the guinea pig. I found a set of gauges on eBay for $100...anybody out there with an '08 interested in this and willing to either be the guinea pig or split the R&D costs?
