Default 4000 mile oil change

I wanted to share my experience with using Motul 300V Sport Oil which is a fully synthetic oil. My 12 year old, sport bike enthusiast, daughter and I just did my 4000 mi oil change using it. I am very impressed with the results. The engine is a lot quieter at idle and the bike shifts a lot more smoothly. Depending on how the oil treats the engine long term I will be sticking with Motul 300V permanently using it in all my "better" bikes."

I love the synthetics -- particularly mobil 1. What's really amazing is that you got your child interested. My 13 and 11 year old boys could care less about working on anything mechanical. I'm thinking they might not be mine. I've always been a grease monkey.

I know what you mean. My 16 year old son, who I would love and gladly pay for to get into road racing, wants nothing to do with what Dad is in to.
