Default 2012 CBR600RR crank no start

Some background information on the bike. I wrecked it about a year ago and nothing major happened to it in the crash, just plastics and damage to the exhaust. I removed the exhaust to replace it, which I never got to doing, and I replaced all the parts besides the fairings. Recently I was riding it and the fuel pump fuse blew at high RMP’s, simple fix but don’t know why it was happening. I was riding it one day and got stuck in some heavy traffic. After sitting in traffic for about 10-15 minutes it puttered out and died. I tried starting it again but it only cranked and didn’t turn over. Since then I’ve replaced spark plugs, fuel injectors, starter relay, starter motor and battery. Any ideas of why this is happening would be great, I’ve been working on it for about a month.

Hi and welcome to the forum. OK, so you replaced all those parts, but were any of them actually bad? Are you getting any spark? Is the fuel pump priming? Have you checked your fuel pressure? Fuel Pressure Regulators are common to go bad.

I mainly replaced those parts to rule them out. At first it was cranking but a couple days later it didn’t even do that so I replaced the battery that was completely dead and still not crank so I replaced the starter motor and relay which gave me the crank back. I changed the spark plugs without testing spark because I didn’t know how to test them. Fuel pump does prime. Not really sure how to test fuel regulators.

Well it looks like the Fuel Pressure Regulator is a part of the Fuel Pump assembly. That makes it an exceptionally expensive part. Not something you'd want to replace without verifying it's actually bad. I think I'd verify you're getting a spark first. Pull a plug, attach it to the coil, make sure the threads portion of the spark plug is grounded by touching the engine or with a wire to the frame and then turn turn the engine over. Make sure you're not touching the plug or wires while doing this or you'll be in for the shock of your life. You should be able to see a spark.
