2007 CBR600RR Clutch not Disengaging
Having a problem with my clutch in my 2007 CBR600RR engine. We are using the engine for a small formula styled car and currently have the engine on a dyno for testing.
Our problem is that our clutch will not disengage making it impossible to get from neutral into gear. We are actuating the clutch by the lever at the engine to rule out the cable.
We swapped a clutch from our spare motor as after inspection the metal clutch plates were burnt blue. The spare motors clutch had all friction plates in spec and normal color. Inspected the basket and it was in good shape too. Clutch lever pin had about a half an inch of play on each motor, not sure if that is out of spec. Refilled with Honda HP4 10W-40 and thoroughly soaked each friction plate before install.
Any ideas?
