Clutch Not Disengaging

Clutch Not Disengaging
I recently just bought a 2002 f4i about 3 months ago with 11,500 miles on it. It now has roughly 12,500 miles on it and at about 12,000 miles I changed the oil, plugs, tightened the chain, and a general new bike tune up. Coming home today from work I noticed with the clutch pulled all the way in and the bike in first gear it wants to lurch forward. I brought it home and threw it up on a stand and low and behold; first gear engaged and clutch all the way engaged the tire is still spinning.
My first thoughts are my clutch cable has stretched a bit so I tightened the adjuster on my clutch perch all the way but it still happens.
Any other ideas on why my clutch might not be disengaging all the way?

yea i think its normal. anyway here is what i did:
i put it on the stand
held the clutch in and shifted to first gear
tire will not spin unless i fully release the clutch
when i pull the clutch back in the tire will STILL spin, but slowly
from here i still have it held in and stop the tire spin with my foot
now the tire has completely stopped with the clutch held in

This is for my own knowledge on this particular subject. Are we sure that it isn't also worn clutch plates? Even if the cable was stretched, he did also say that he adjusted it down by the clutch as well. I would think there is no way the cable could instantly get stretched again following that kind of adjustment as well? If some people here are certain it's a worn cable, then what are the signs of clutch plates getting to worn out?

Why not? It could be about to break, or be stretched even more now.
Nobody can be certain of anything over the net, but I would think if it was the clutch plates there would be excessive slipping and clutch shudder.
