2000 Honda CBR600F4 won't start with kickstand down
Hi all,
i just recently purchased a 2000 Honda Cbr600F4 as my starter bike. The bike runs great but the only issue that seller told me about the bike is that it doesn't start with the kickstand down. He doesn't know why and neither do i. basically when the kickstand is up, it starts fine but the neutral light doesn't work at all and as soon as i put the kick stand down, it dies. when the kickstand is down, it won't start. could be a sensor?

It's not the kickstand sensor. It's doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Your problem is that it doesn't know it's in neutral.
Start with checking the neutral switch, wiring, and making sure the transmission is operating it.
