Default 1st & 2nd shifting

Lately my bike has been very finicky going from first to second. It just feels like the shift is forced like it wants to bounce out into nuetral, i feel alot more pressure on the top of my foot than the other gears. but 95% of the time it goes into gear. I know that she doesnt like to shift into first unless under 20 mph with some throttle blip either. Is there any similar technique to reduce the amount of strain when i shift from first to second i.e let rpms drop, throttle blip, double clutch etc?

Sounds like you 'may' have a bent shift fork, assuming nothing else seems excessively worn or slipping and you cables adjusted properly.

I've noticed the same thing with my bike recently, every now and then it goes to nuetral and I'm revving the engine going nowhere lol. But it is very 'forced' feeling but shifts smoothly in all other gears. I only have 8k miles could a shift fork be bent with such low miles?

Sounds as if the clutch may be dragging slightly which would cause your symptoms. Check clutch cable adjustment starting at the clutch end of the cable first and fine tune at the clutch lever on the handlebar. Also a loose drive chain can cause similar problems. Check and adjust if necessary.
