Default 1999 CBR 900 RR disconnected wire

I just recently had my bike worked on general maint. new spark plugs and oil change. I noticed that there is a cable 3 pin connector on the left side of the bike below the gas tank area that is not connected at one end. The other end of the cable looks as if it runs into or between the carbs. and then who knows where??? I have a mech. book on my bike and it looks like it could be the throttle sensor?? however the bike is running great no issues???? anyone know what this cable could be??? please help I don't want to have to take the bike apart to see where the other end goes if I don't need to.
thanks for your help

its probably the throttle position sensor. the cable that connects to it should be connected to the carbs and it should be around there somewhere. definately something that as they were putting your bike backtogether they could vhave gotten sidetracked and forgot to put back.

im not sure why ur bike runs fine with it and without it but i figure it must be there for a reason
