Default 1995 CBR 900RR fireblade won’t turn on

So I changed my battery I changed the fuses. And when I turn the key over to the on position no lights will come on. This is my first bike and I’m not really sure what to like do to get it running. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.

yes it ran good then I went home turned it off started it back up drove 4 blocks and then it died on me. I fixed the battery issue that was the issue the first time the store gave me a battery that was dead. But I’m not sure what’s going on now. I hear a like popping noise I have all the fuses new. When I go to start it the lights dim out.
could it be the stator? I was told that’s what like charges the battery and keeps it charged. If that’s the case I might need to just get one of those

Does the motor turn over by hand?

Well whats the current battery's volts right now ? is it low (<12.7V)? If it's low and it's a new good battery, that tells you it's either not charging while riding or draining while sitting.
Stators maintain the battery charge while riding. If your stator is bad, it would have drained the battery.

Stators are expensive I would test it and make sure it's bad before replacing.
