Default 1000rr to 600r tail

Just recently tore up the tail section of my 600rr in an accident ish. Anyone know if its possible or even close after a little mold/fiberglass work to fit a 1krr tail section onto an 06 600rr. Have always loved teh tails on the 1ks and how they flare out alittle more. If anyone has tips or just doesnt think its doable without an ungodly amount of $$/work,any commentswould be a great help. Thanks

I've read that it is easily adapted, but from the pics I've seen, the 1000RR tail looks awkward because the tail sticks out a bit further than the 600RR tail (and the 600RR is naturally a slimmer bike than the 1000's.)

Might have to do alittle more research on that then. Never thought about the wider tail making the overall bike look slightly awkward...makes sense though. Thanks, I'll see what I can dig up before I start getting into another project.
