Default 081krr front seat removal

anyone have any better suggestions as to how to remove the screws to get the seat off? im not hurcules and cannot remove these with just a hand screw driver for some reason. anyone try something else? any suggestions greatly appreciated. thanks

if they're that tight, stick a screwdriver bit into a socket wrench - you can get more leverage.

yeah i tried that as well on the other side which wasnt stripped at the time, and thats when i broke the two bits. lol. pretty sad huh? so now both are completely stripped and ive got to go get some more screws tomorrow

Did you know that those screw heads are JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) and not Phillips? A regular Phillips screwdriver can damage the head if the screw is in too tight. That's why the 08 "toolkit" has just one screwdriver in it, which is a JIS type.
