Got a question, I see where different people change the tail on their Hondas lets face it most of them arent the best looking rear ends anyway. Well I have a 03 954, hate the tail, my least favorite part of the bike, love the 08 GSXR 1000 tail, could it be converted? Any tips or help would be appreciated.

Dude wtf yo have a 954 why would you want to put a different tail on that bike its a sexy *** bike i would kill to have one. I think you should just leaveit alone IMO but hey everyone liks different **** i guess. I have no clue if this would bolt on or not youll just have to measure an 08 tail and then measure yours and see what the difference is. Your probably the first to swap a 954 tail to gixxer tail to be honest. The only reason other people swap their tail sections is because A: they have a the big ugly single seat instead of the split seat or B: theirs is bent or fu*cked up somehow. Let us now how the project is coming and good luck.

 

You could do it..yet you would have to cut and weld for sure some stuff on there. Anything is possible. Just the knowledge of doing so is a different story.

 

You can make any tail fit any bike, as long as you can weld or know someone who can.
