Here's the deal: I recently bought CBR1000RR mirrors for my '06 F4i because I needed new turn signals and new mirrors after a crash, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone.

I thought the only problem I'd have is having to drill into the fairing, but it turns out that the mirrors have position lights as well as turn signals, and the connectors are therefore different

So, here's what I'd like your guys' help/opinion on/with

1. How do I go about changing the adaptors on the mirrors so that everything plugs in properly

and

2. Should I try to splice in to another wire to get the position lights to work, or just leave it as a dead wire? If yes, what might I go into?
