07 with 18.7k on it is having a headlight issue that isn't the bulb. Tried the bulb from the high beam and checked the fuse / relay and both seem to be good. The high beam does still work. Loose connections? bad ground? any opinion or thought would help, thank you.

 

get yourself a wiring diagram and a multimeter and check you have power at each of the low beam circuits junctions, im not sure of the diagram for the rr, but some go battery to fuse to starter switch to relay to headlight

 

New to all of this (being a part of a forum) any who, i have an 07 600rr and i have a low beam issue as well. i checked pretty much everthing. somewhere along the way i saw someone say that the low beam is connected to the starter switch? i have been having issues with it so i wouldnt be surprised my question is that true, could i possibly have a bad wire in the switch and just need to replace it?

 

It's on the same circuit, yes, but there's a lot on that circuit. You'd have more issues than just the bulb....


I hate to sound insulting, so please don't take it this way, but you do know only one of the headlights run on lo-beam, right?


It could be any of the things you posted, so I'd grab the wiring diagram and take a look at the connections.
