Default 06 CBR 600rr electrical problems

So my buddy has a 06 CBR 600RR and he is having some electrical issues after an accdident. When the key is turned off the high beam light is lit up on the gauges. When the key is turned on the high beam light on the gauges goes off and only one of the headlights work. The fuel pump doesnt prime either. The bike will crank when trying to start it but wont fire. If any one can help please do. He is wanting to get the bike up and running for this riding season. THANKS!!

It sounds like there is an issue with the upper wiring harness. The Bank Angle Sensor is located between the headlights and controls the fuel pump. The headlights and gauge cluster are on that same harness. The harness could be damaged.

Did your friend try to bypass the bank angle sensor? If so, it could have been done incorrectly.

The other possibility is damage to the clip ons. The high beam switch and the kill switch could be defective.

As LC asked, where is the damage at?
