Default '05 cbr 1000rr ?'s

i am brand new to this website and am in need of some advice. i just bought my bike two days ago and just wanted to know a few things. whenever i get started riding, there is sometimes a moderate amount of smoke coming out of the exhaust. i am hoping that this is just becasuse the bike is brand spanking new and not something that is going to be an issue. my second question is what is the normal operating temp for my bike? when i get on the highway, it usually operates around 170-185 degrees. the last thing i wanted to know is if there is anybody out there that knows where i can get a haynes-type manual for my bike. i really appreciate anybody's help with this.

the smoke is probally from the bike breaking in still. If it is just a tiny puff here and there do not worry about it..your tempature sounds about right..
and the manual is only available from the Honda Dealer..I have an extra FACTORY CBR1000RR manual if you want for $40..I was bidding on two and won them both...my mistake on Ebay![:@]

Good choice on bike!!

Mine runs at 80-85 Degrees C (176+ in farenheit) normal coolish days in UK, they run hot as ageneral rule anyway so i wouldn`t worry bout it. Has been up to a steady 100 C (212F) on hot days with a good caining of the beast.
