i have read through my service manual and cant make any sense (or im just too tired/retarded to understand lol) and im trying to figure the following:
1. what parts am i gonna need to do this.
2: how long should this take.
and last but not least:
3: i am somewhat mechanically inclined (i do almost all my own work on the bike cause im not paying my stealership $95/hr for labour)
any and all opinions are welcomed/wanted.....

first time, assume the better part of the day.
you will need a feeler gauge. the valve cover gaskets are the rubber type and can be reused.
you'll need some grease for the timing cover bolt.
as for which shims you'll need, you won't know until you take the measurements.

 

so basically take it to a dealership so i dont risk blowing the motor lol
