04 600rr idle/starting issue
Hey Guys,
So let me lay the problem out to everyone. I just bought a 2004 600rr that had been sitting in a driveway for around 6-8 months. I have been riding it without problems for about a month now. Wednesday after riding for 5 min or so it died on me. I could not get it fired back up,and the oil light,FI Light and the blinking oil light on the dash were all on. I was thinking it was a battery issue bc all the lights on the dash eventually went off and I did not get any power at all. I took my battery in to a local autozone and they said the battery was dead. I purchased a new one and the bike now has power. I tried to fire it up but now the idle is very rough to the point where it will not stay running. All 3 lights are still on,the only way I can keep it running is if I give it throttle above 2K RPM. Any suggestions on what this problem could be? Bad gas? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Id say bad gas. probably want to drain it out and put some new gas in. not really an expert though,as my bike hasnt been starting for a while, lol. check the plogs to make sure theyre okay too while you take the tank off.
