'04 1kRR Timing/CKP Sensor replacement question(s)..
Ok, so my bike hasn't been on the road in F O R E V E R due to it not wanting to start. To sum it up, it got to where it would die right after starting, then finally it wouldn't start at all. Replaced the battery with a Yuasa, replaced the plugs with the appropriate NGK Iridium plugs, fuel pump primes, cleaned several connectors, used dielectric grease, checked fuses etc. etc.
Still no spark.
Narrowed it down to a bad CKP Sensor (Crank Position Sensor/Pulse Generator) as the most likely culprit, next to bad coil packs, stator, harness and ECM. I called Honda and they told me the stator was replaced under the extended warranty about 8 months prior to me buying it, so I doubt that's it though I'm not ruling it out.
Anyway, long story short, I ordered the part (Pulse Generator/CKP Sensor) and pulled the cover off today to replace it.
Here's the old sensor:

Here's the new sensor:

Only difference I can see after looking at them both closely is that the square is brown on the used one, and white on the new one. My question is, could the old sensor still be bad if it appears to be fine? Internal issues maybe? Also, is there a way to test these sensors?
Secondly, the thought crossed my mind that maybe my bike jumped time.. I'm a novice at best so I just thought I'd ask.. if it is possible, what would cause it to do so, and how could I tell that it is indeed out of timing? How do I correct it? Here are some pics:

I understand the arrow must line up with another indicator but as I said, I'm novice at best.. does it appear to be out of time?
Thanks in advance guys! If you need specifics on my bike just ask, I have everything saved from where I've posted before.
