Default 03 cbr 600rr left handlebar switch

I recently bought this bike from Facebook and I guess they ripped the horn out or something because there isn’t one there, but my signal switch does not have 4 but 2 separate female wire connectors coming out but when I look up the oem parts number diagram it shows 4 female connectors coming out for my year. Does anyone know what years are compatible or why mine doesn’t have 4

Looking at the wiring diagram it only shows two wires to the clutch switch - I think it's simply a drawing mistake on the OEM parts diagram.

If you look up pictures of the part 35200-MEE-670 there are only two wires.

As shown in rockpool's link, there's only 2 spade connectors to plug into external clutch
switch. Which goes into housing and connects to harness through 12P connector with all other switches. You probably have switch-assembly from some other bike. Not sure which bike wouldn't have horn button though.

Note Honda has DPDT switch for turn-signals. One pole turns OFF marker lights when it turns ON winkers. When winkers are turned OFF, marker lights are turned ON.

I’ve seen some for sale with pictures that have the 4 that’s why I’m confused as to what year that would go with, but moral of my problem is I can’t find horn wires anywhere on my bike and I don’t have a horn period so I need to figure out how to connect a horn

I think Skyhigh22 is referring to this incorrect part image which shows three pigtails, not two. The horn wiring goes through the big connector into the loom. Follow the Lg wire from the big connector - you'll find it (or its end) somewhere.

Yes that is what I’m talking about but it’s not incorrect because I’ve seen them for sell on eBay just like that, that is why I’m confused, and if it is in the loom how do I connect a horn

If you don't have the extra pigtail but still have the horn switch, then the connector for the horn must be in the loom itself? BTW the horn is mounted on the top right of the radiator - https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/ho...0rr-a/radiator

With wiring, and many other troubleshooting, start with some "known" facts and use that to deduce any "unknown" data needed.

For example:

1. known - you have horn button
2. known - there's 2 wires connected to horn button

3. unknown - key ON, measure voltage on 1st horn wire, volts = ?
4. unknown - key ON, measure voltage on 2nd horn wire, volts= ?

5. now known - wire with +12v is power input from fuse/battery, colour = ?
6. now known - other wire on button is power output to horn, colour = ?

7. now known - trace power output to horn wire (colour?) from horn button through 12P connector through harness to other end. where is other end???

Makes sense?
