Default 14' CBR500RA No Start

Hello,

I own a 2014 CBR500RA I just had it transported from one state to another using a company. Upon getting it here I was notified the kill switch was damaged and non functioning which they reimbursed me the cost of the part and I ordered it. Well I wanted to test ride it yesterday and make sure everything else was fine so I took the switch apart and just twisted the wires together and closed the circuit I turned the key and sure enough I cools hear the fuel pump prime up. And it was I had no issues I filled up and everything was fine but then all of the sudden I lost all power the oil and engine light came on the dash and I pulled over. Turning the key no hummm of the fuel pump and clicking the start button nothing happens the lights dim but no click on a starter or anything. I checked to see if the wires were still connected and they were. The battery voltage is fine I tested it and it’s still brand new. Anyone have any ideas?

Most likely twisted wires shorted on something and blew fuses. Pull each and every single fuse and measure it to make sure they're OK. I'd be trillionaire if I had penny for every time I heard, "Fuse looks OK!! " but actually didn't conduct any electricity at all.

Also don't do anything until you replaced switch-pod with new one.
