Question ['02 CBR954RR] Normal for chain to slap the underside of the swingarm?

I'm trying to see whether or not the chain tension is right on my bike. The other day, I noticed that the chain slider was just completely gone (and did a little number on the swingarm) so I ordered one and replaced it. I tried my best to measure the proper way and to me it seems to measure within spec (~45mm) but I noticed that it's pretty easy to make the bottom side chain slap the top of the swingarm/chain slider above it. I'm pretty sure I can also hear it when riding. I'm thinking I need to pull the rear wheel back just a hair but curious what you guys think. Thanks!

No, the chain should not hit the swingarm.

I note that the manual says 40-50 mm in the centre of the run when on the side stand, I’d set it to the low end of that - it will only get bigger.

Also, check that the chain and sprockets don’t need replacing.
