Default 02 cbr bogs down like hittin a rev limiter at 11k

aight so im new to this form stuff but i figured id give it a try im a mechanic myself but i figured id put a post out mayby someone else has had the same problem my bikes a 02 cbr f4i today when i was in first gear revin it out it just stoped at 11k no more power n wouldnt go anymore kinda felt like i slamed on the brakes so i shifted to 2nd in second it wouldnt go past 8k n felt the same way this is the first time this has happend but im **** bout my toys only thing i can think of is a fuel problem the engine being starved of fuel after that i tried revin out 1st again at a light and happend again only t his time only first i duno help please

F4i's have a common failure with the Fuel Pressure Regulator. The most common issue is too much fuel, (which would make it bog as well) but it can also be a fuel starvation issue when they go bad. There is a resistance check for them on the electrical leads, but most common is internal failure. You can pull off the vaccum tube that leads to it. If there is fuel in the vaccum tube, the FPR is bad.

thanxs ima do a resistance check on it and pull the vacume line n check it out
