I just got my F4i and it has 16,000 miles and hasn't been maintenanced. So, I plan on following the service manual. Its look like I be doing everything. Should bealot of fun, except the valve clearance.
Has anyone done all the things listed to do at 16,000 miles in the service manual before?
I have between the 2 bikes and not necessarily at the same interval. The hardest is the valve check and its simple once you've done it before.

my winter plans are to................................................ .........................................RIDE!
I missed the last 3 months riding. I'm almost done with my "winter makeover". I ride as long as the forecasts read above 49F. I hunt down those Indian Summer days like a Bald Eagle.

I will keep my bike ready
Even as I am ready

I got 'Gas Stationed'. Going to fix that over the winter and install frame sliders. Anyone know where i can buy sparkley silver vinal to cover this up? Only need a small piece...

seems to me that you may be able to head over the walmart and get some of that auto touch up paint and maybe fill that in....and maybe to a little clear coat over that area then....just an idea

twincitydecal.com sells vinyl stickers in solid colors though.....

ouch! you can get vinal for sure! i have a roll which i bought a few years ago. Went to a graphic visual place here in Ottawa. Just look in phone book for the same etc. Call em up and ask for vinal, odds are they will have it in a variety of colors, the silver i have matches perfectly. Id def get the vinal vs trying to paint etc. The area around my upper fairing bolt left side is ripped a bit, over the winter ill fix her up as best as i can.

Keeping on this topic, i put her to bed today[sm=smiley6.gif], removed battery , put some stab in the tank, i will change oil and remove fairings over the next week or so. Let the MODsbegin
