lesson learned. Worse comes to worse, see if you can shave down the seat ifthat'sworth it? I am guessing not.

Lowering as we all know screws up the suspension.

I wouldn't buy a bike I couldn't flat foot.

I tried the seat shaving thing, and it didnt work. Thats why I put in the adjustable link. I learned the lesson about it, but it was worth a try.

IMO just take the time to put your stuff stock back on and resell your lowering link. Who knows maybe you'll be able to resell it to some noob and get money to repair what you dinged up.

I think I probably will take it off this week. Does anyone know of anyone who would want to buy it? I paid 85 plus shipping. I would let it go for 75 and I will cover shipping. My email is Roynice152@gmail.com.

+1 on the seat shaving... I did that too, sinceI'm vertically challenged and it didn't help a thing, besides making my *** even more sore on longer trips [sm=boosign.gif]... I was contemplating lowering the bike but I have also heard a lot more negative things about it... Adjusting the rear shock would be good with what I'm using the bike for, mind you I'm not the wheelie type of gurl, not yet anyways lol. If I just picked a bike that I could flat food on I'd be still riding my Ninja 250 lol. [sm=sigh.gif]

Well, if you don't ride on one wheel or hit the corners hard and fast. A lowered bike is great. My friend has a Hayabusa and he lowered his 2 inches, but he never rides one wheel and he doesn't corner like I do either. He just goes fast in straight lines.
