want to lower my bike

RE: want to lower my bike
What are your intentions in riding your bike? Do you plan to do any kneedragging? Or are you just going to ride street??
If you plan to be an aggressive kneedragger, you will have clearance issues that can have serious consequences. So I wouldn't suggest lowering it in that case. I had a bike that was lowered and I was scraping fairings at the track. I went back to the stock height and then even raised the rear more. CBRs are notorious for clearance issues at the track and lowering them only makes it worse.
Having said that, here's a FAQ I put together on another board that may help you make some educated decisions:

Personally, I'm not a fan of lowering links but its hard to overlook the cheap cost.
