I recently put 3,500 miles on in nine days, going to Laguna. Made it from Albuquerque to Bakersfield before I picked up a nail in a construction zone and had to stop. 815 miles, with the last twenty on a flat rear. By the last day my knees felt like they would explode !My hands are still a bit tingly. Felt good to put chest to tank, but that put strain on neck. I was eating Ibuprofin like they were M&M's ! On a noob-note, I now have a Bridgestone Battleaxe on front, and a Dunlop Qualifier on the rear. Durh! Pax, G.

Just got back from 2500 miles in a little over a week. Was headed from Washington to CA to visit family. On the way south I took two days, the longer being 750 miles in 14 hours. For the trip home I was eager to get home to my girlfriend and covered 1070 miles in 17 hours and 10 minutes... not that I was watching the clock or anything...

Longest single ride in a day was 630 miles on my FZ1....one giant loop from NH upto ME back through NH over to VT and back down to NH.
Stressed outmy right shoulder muscles from riding all day and shivering through the fog at night...I'm still going tophysical therapy for that...
